Seiko Invented Kinetic which has both Auto watch rotor for winding up and accurate of Quartz Watch. The Kinetic Power was used to charge up a power capacity (Battery Cell) and the Battery cell is then drive up the quartz watch module.However by right after 5-7 years we have to replace the Rechargeable Battery Cell.
One drsaw back is that the battery is expensive... It is about HKD$200.00 a piece, if you go through Seiko AD, it is more.. So Kinetic quartz is no more popular ...My Guess only!
